                                COACHES

1. The Nomination Meeting will be held on November 10, 2008.  The Head Coach from Walton High School will coordinate the meeting notification.

2.  Who Selects the teams? The Cobb County Touchdown Club, along with the American Youth Council, Inc.  The American Youth Council, Inc. is a Georgia 501 (c)(3) educational corporation that organizes the Cobb County All-Star Senior Bowl.  See www.americanyouthcouncil.com for more information.

3. Who Selects the coaches for the game ? The Cobb County Touchdown Club and the American Youth Council, Inc..

4. Who Selects the coaches to be installed annually in the  Hall of Fame? The Cobb County Touchdown Club.

5. Who Selects student scholarship recipients? The Cobb Touchdown Club along with the American Youth Council, Inc.  See www.americanyouthcouncil for scholarship applications..

                        PLAYERS

It is a great honor to be selected for the Cobb County High School Senior Bowl. You will be representing not only yourself, but your school and your community. You will have the opportunity to meet alumni players, coaches, sponsors and dignitaries. The game will also be attended by national college coaches, by invitation.

Your participation in the event will require you to accept the responsibility for a ‘Buddy’, and to promote the entire event with character and respect.

You are also responsible for:

1.  Attending the official photo shoot for individual and team photos.

2. Encouraging teammates, fans, and friends to purchase tickets and attend the game.

3. Securing your football equipment needed for the Cobb County All Star Senior Bowl and practices. Only Game Jerseys and pants will be provided.  You must use your own helmets, pads, socks and shoes. 

4. Attendance is mandatory at the Special Needs event, the Christmas Parth, the pre-game practices, and game week promotional events.

5.  Selling 30 game tickets.  The $5 tickets will be given to players by their head football coaches upon their selection.  The tickets will be sequentially numbered for each player, and should be sold before the game on December 20, 2008.  Ticket money must be turned in by the last practice on Friday December 19, or earlier.  

IF ANY PLAYER OR SCHOOL IS NOT ABLE TO SELL TICKETS, WE WILL FIND A PERSONAL SPONSOR FOR ALL THAT NEED IT.  PLEASE NOTIFY US BY EMAIL ON THE 'CONTACT US' PAGE OF THIS WEBSITE.

     

                 

             CHEERLEADERS

                     MASCOTS
All Mascots from Cobb County High Schools are eligible to participate in the ‘Mascot Feats of Strength’ competition during the pre- game events. The winner will be the official Game mascot.

                  BUDDIES
The Buddy programmed is designed to partner a special needs child with each player and cheerleader and to allow both the buddy and the partner to establish a special friendship.

Buddies also have the opportunity during the week of the game to attend the Christmas Party and the Game.
